PGI Steel recently hosted 30 students from Riverchase Career Connection Center “RC3” to see welding, fabrication, machining and grinding in person! We had a fantastic turnout and all students saw first-hand the apprenticeship and career opportunities available at PGI Steel and skilled trades in general. Rex Hare, Lead Skilled Trades Teacher is making great things happen for our youth at RC3! Special thank you to Kristen Holder (Alabama Office of Apprenticeship) for being there to speak to the group. We were honored to see so many young kids excited about manufacturing.
