We are currently seeking a Highly Experienced CNC Machinist to operate a large capacity 3-axis mill with an indexable head. The position requires experience working with a wide variety of steel grades and aluminum. Must have experience holding tolerance ranges from +/- .005 to +/- .0002. Most work is custom and every job is unique. Prior experience creating and editing programs at the controls is required to apply. Applicants should already have a good supply of their own tools. PGI Steel machinists are responsible for machining materials to customer’s specifications via a provided program. All applicants are required to pass a Machinist Aptitude and Math Test. Programming experience in solid models is a plus but not required. We offer an excellent benefit package including but not limited to health, dental, vision, PTO, paid maternity/paternity leave as well as other incentives.

Looking to join a growing and productive Team? PGI Steel, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced fabricator. All applicants must be extremely detail oriented and must have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, fitting and welding of parts. To be considered, applicants must have knowledge and experience with fabrication equipment including welding machines, hand burning torches, iron workers, cut-off saws, band saws, drill presses, track burners, overhead cranes, measuring equipment and all hand tools. Supervisor/Lead Man experience desired, but not required.
- Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) preferred

PGI Steel, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to join our growing Team! The QC Technician is responsible for the final inspection of machined parts to verify customer specifications and ensure consistency of quality products and services. All applicants MUST be detail oriented and have strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as experience with a wide variety or measuring tools and equipment. Applicants must have prior experience interpreting CAD drawings and also possess general Machine Shop knowledge and strong math skills.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of CMM Measuring Arm inspection techniques as well as be able to navigate and efficiently use SolidWorks, PolyWorks and RDS software. Applicants will be expected to have proficiency receiving drawings and CAD models, import them into PolyWorks, create a fully defined script with dependencies and tolerances, align and probe each piece with the techniques needed to obtain accurate results and ultimately create a well-detailed and visually pleasing inspection report for our customers.

The Hiring Process
Applications must be completed at one of our locations. All candidates will be given a basic math test which must be passed with a 70% or higher score in order to proceed to or be considered for an interview. Once a job offer has been made, we begin the screening process which includes a background check, agility test and drug screen.
